Past Event: HELB Hosts Delegates from South Africa & Uganda

The Higher Education Loans Board received yet another set of guests from the South African students’ financing agency who visited their Kenyan counterpart for a study tour from 31st October to 2nd November, 2016. The South African delegates said they were appreciated the strides HELB has made in financing students in Kenya. NSFAS is the South African students financing agencies, commissioned to provide an efficient and sustainable financial aid system for poor yet academically eligible students. The agency currently offers loans and bursaries to students at 26 public higher education institutions and 50 technical, voca-tional and education training (TVET) colleges.
